Dave Roever offers the following services to the military.
"The Real Deal" CD is a special version of Dave Roever's amazing story of tragedy to triumph produced specifically for the military. It is not available to the public in general. Tens of thousands have been donated to military members around the world, including the war zones. A military commander or chaplain may contact us at info@daveroever.org to request sufficient quantities to meet the needs of his/her personnel. Requests will be met as stock is available.
Dave Roever, a superb communicator, has always spoken to the military, but has done so increasingly since September 11, 2001, and is willing to go anywhere in the world to do so. He does professional development; military values training; motivational presentations; wounded warrior retreats; marriage retreats, and reintegration training, occasionally accompanied by his wife Brenda. He visits and inspires wounded warriors at hospitals such as Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio (where he was hospitalized in 1969); Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C.; Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany; and hospitals in Iraq.
Since September 11, 2001 alone, Dave has spoken at the following:
Army: Academies such as the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York; and the Sergeant's Major Academy at Ft. Bliss, Texas. Stateside installations such as Fort Bliss; Fort Benning; Fort Gordon, Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Irwin, Fort Huachuca, Fort Dix, Fort Eustis, Fort McNair, Fort Carson, etc. On other continents: NATO, SHAPE, and Army posts in Germany, Italy and Kosovo, including students in DoDDS schools; Korea; and troops all over Iraq.
Air Force: Academies such as the Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado; and the Defense Language Institute, San Antonio, Texas. Air Intelligence Agency, San Antonio, Texas. Bases such as Langley AFB, Good Fellow AFB, Elmendorf AFB, Minot AFB, Ellsworth AFB; Randolph AFB and Lackland AFB. On other continents: Lakenheath Air Base, England. Motivational and pre-holiday tours in the U.S., Pacific Forces in Japan, Korea, Okinawa, and in the middle east: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, UAE, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Department of Defense article re: January 2004 Iraq trip:
Dave Roever, a superb communicator, does professional development, military values training and motivational/inspirational presentations world-wide, donning battle-rattle when necessary. His effective, tri-angular model of faith, family and friends hits the target. Troops are sharply readied for service, motivated to give their best, and even inspired to re-enlist. He takes encouragement to the troops wherever they are. Troops are amazed when a fellow soldier who has engaged like forces, suffered for his country, and triumphed over his near-fatal injury, shows up on site at their post or forward operating base in the war zones.
