This episode of the Tragedy to Triumph podcast centers on the theme that everyone has a story, often marked by scars and pain, and that sharing these experiences can help transform tragedy into hope and triumph. Hosts Dave Roever and his daughter Kim discuss the importance of empathy, authenticity, and faith as they reflect on personal stories of injury, recovery, and mentorship. The episode features lessons from Dave’s mentor, Laurel Akers, and recounts the moving story of Colonel Robinson Reisner, a Vietnam War POW. The overall message encourages listeners to move beyond their past, find meaning in their struggles, and use their experiences to help others—reminding everyone that they are “more than a story.”

I highly recommend this podcast for everyone. We all have a story and we all need to write a victorious ending through the hope and help of our Lord Jesus Christ. Dave and Kim do an excellent job of ministering. Check it out.
